im doubtfull but maybe they will be ok? im looking at ordering 2 sets of these for my bike as i just want something cheap so i can see a bit and be seen if im out at night on the bike.

opinions please?

    Well its only your life you're gambling that a no name torch off Ebay will let you be seen.......

  • there is nothing wrong to go for a cheaper one, however also think of a reasonable option to before buying

    for commuting, those lights will probably be ok, but for any offroad use, you would probably be as well holding a lantern on the end of a stick :wink:

    i will only be using them if im out at night and i doubt i will be doing propper off roading just yet.

    DONT DO IT!!! theyre £3 a set for a reason. i bought two of the silver variety. firstly, theyre not overly bright but do a job to keep you seen, secondly, they turn off randomly due to p155 poor connector but mainly, both of the bar attachment grooves on both lights have snapped. one when i was trying to put it on and the other when i dropped off a large kerb and the light just kept going. honestly, even for £3 its not worth it. get a P7, im waiting for mine as i type, they're supposed to be a m a z i n g!
