8sp SRAM X5 trigger shifter replacement?

Hi,
I just broke my rear sram x5 trigger shifter, and failed miserably at trying to fix it. I've searched a whole bunch of bike shop sites, but I can't seem to find anywhere with an 8 speed x5 trigger shifter in stock. Is there anything else I can replace it with? Or is this going to be more expensive than I thought? :roll:
