Which Track Bike? - help!

Folks,

I am looking at getting a track bike for track riding/racing (rather than commuting) and was after some suggestions.

I had thought about getting a Felt TK3 but also see the Fuji Comp is a couple of pounds lighter (but not as pretty). I’ve probably got about the Felt’s budget to spend all going well but I’m struggling to find proper track bike options out there (which is probably me looking in the wrong spots).

So what other options are out there? Even just a frame to build up would be fine.
(and the novice question of, should I choose a track bike with similar sizing/geometry to my road bike?)

Thanks for the help

PS I would like to have the option of drilled front forks (at least) so I could add brakes in the future if desired.

For what it's worth, if any else out there is having the same questions. I've decided to go for a Dolan Track Champion.

A great choice. You’ll enjoy the Track Champ and it’s a great ‘starter’ bike as well as working with high end components as you upgrade and get faster. I’ve had mine for nearly 4 years and it’s still good to ride although my one now earns its keep as my training bike as I have DF3 for racing.

Sorry, I somehow managed to miss your question – it’s what I would have recommended anyway! 8)
    I’m a sprinter – I warmed up yesterday.
