anyone skip as part of their training?

i thought i would add a regular skip session to my weekly routine. does anyone have any tips and have they noticed any benefits for cycling? i intend to start by doing six sets of 1 to 2 mins skipping with 30 secs rest.

Yep - for 5 mins before every weights sessions.

I really ought to start again, I was awesome at it at school. I wasn't the fastest runner, or the slowest, but I had good coordination allowing me to beat all of the speedy kids who kept tripping over. It got me in the school games team for it, but then again I got in the hockey team at secondary school just for knowing which way up to hold a hockey stickStart Weight 18st 13lbs March 2009
