Have you reported him to the police? Failure to stop at an accident.
RBIT
Oh yes all reported and logged. it was the first thing I was TOLD to do when I got into work. Also had to place reports through the work place system (work for the ambulance service) incase there were any future problems.
My only annoying thing was that I didn't get was the number plate of the van. he was off before I even realised what had happened.
Sarajoy: Yep...I'm kinda glad at times like these that I have a fat arseOfficers don't run, it's undignified and panics the men0 -
Not fat, ample. Ample implies lots but also just enough
That's how I like to think of it anyway.
It's a bugger trying to catch registration plates - I nearly reported one driver and thought I'd committed it to memory (he/she was driving like a complete tool, way too fast for the area, just scary), but it was gone by the time I'd arrived at my destination, damnit.
You're OK though?0 -

yeah all fine. was checked out by the nurse in work and given a stack of brufen to o/d on
I did say to the police that I didn't have time to get the reg of the van, but was reporting it in case there were similar incidents in the area.
I figure that if we at least report these things, even if nothing can be done, the police will become so fed up of the amount of incidents where cyclists are abused or hit by motorists they might start doing something and councils might start making cycle paths far more viable and actutally take you to where you want to go.
And yes I suppose ample is better. although I still wouldn't dare to get my 'ample' arse into a pair of lycra shorts as a friend of mine suggested :shock:Officers don't run, it's undignified and panics the men0 -

I had to feel sorry for the guy who tumbled sideways in the car park before the Cheshire Cat. There were only about 100 people watching him lying there in an undignified heap.0
