Bedgebury forrest over easter
Wife and I are camping out near Bewl water over easter and taking the bikes with us.
We had planned to do the ride round Bewl water itself, but its not open till May, so we will be going to Bedgebury instead.
I have had a look at the Boars on Bikes website, and it shows they are trail building on the 11th, so we are planning on going on the Sunday instead.
Anyone know how good the trail is there at the moment - I have heard stories of it getting REALLY boggy at times.
To be honest, we will probably end up sticking to the family trail rather than the singletrack, as I am still riding wounded (using that as an excuse, and not my inability! ) and the wife is not too confident with proper trails yet (Friston Forest is pretty much the only MTB experience she has).
So is the trail good at the moment or a bog?

Have you been there before?
The family trail is (was?) just gritted (slidey!) forrest access roads.
The SingleTrack route is VERY tame. My ladyfriend hadn't been on a bike for years and rolled around it ok 1st time out on a rental bike.*Rock Lobster Team Tig SL (22lb 14oz)
