Which lock?????

Hi guys
I m looking to buy a lock which i can keep on my bike i.e i dont have to carry it around when i m riding the bike. Can any1 plzz recommend me a lock whihc gives the protection and doesnt need to be carried around.

I have been searching a lot and dont know what the bracket is for (comes with most of the locks any ideas???) :(

    Me too.

    As i'm mountain biking I'm looking for something lightweght that can ideally be fixed to the frame (or might get a frame bag if needed)
    My bike is not used for commuting so the lock doesn't need to be bomb proof, just to give some protection when I'm in the pub after a ride out :D

    Not 'arf guvnor. Weighs about the same as the bike (OK maybe slight exageration there...)
