Trefrew/ Capel Curig loop??

Hi all,

Anyone here done the Trefrew/ Capel Curig route that takes you past Llyn Cowlyd resevoir and Llyn Crafant? I am planning on doing it Wednseday.

The route starts in Trefrew and heads up to Llyn Colwyd down to Capel Curig then up past Lyn Cowlyd and back to Trefrew (13miles).

I was going to start in Capel Curig and go the oposite way around to avoid a Major climb (400 metres in 2.5 miles) out of Trefrew.

Anyone done it this way.

    i thought clockwise was supposed to be best. you do lose some height on the road but it generally flows better.

    very nice ride on all accounts.
