Clothes you're buying for the changing season

when the seasons change, it always triggers a bout of online window shopping for cycling clothes. I'm looking for unusual and supercool jerseys and perhaps a new very light weight jacket for stuffing in my pocket on those iffy days. I'm also thinking about my outfit for the Etape - that is going to be a special day and it needs a damn good outfit!
What are you thinking about buying? (and have you seen any cool jerseys?)

I saw that the ne Cervelo jersey is 80 and the bib shorts are 75!
Hushovd and co. should wear masks whilst riding0 -
Same as always.0

I got my Lampre bib shorts, so no more clothing this year. I have bigger fish to fry and not a lot of money to do so.
Being a drug addict would be cheaper than cycling. Honestly....
Cheers

I might try for a different coloured orthopaedic shoe.0

What?
I just wear the same stuff all year round!
With the exception of Feb-Sep when I lose the silly tights.
But now I think about it, I really want one of those Triathlon tops, for when it gets really hot...
Or even one of those Triathlon all-in-one suits:
...and some ridiculously stylish colour-co-ordinated eyewear for the full "look"...0 -

My wife bought me the Italian jersey, identical to the club jersey in style and fit. It's awesome.
Pretty much all of my gear is Rapha, I've not been displeased with any of it as yet, despite the hefty price tag. I have jerseys, jackets, tights and shorts from them. Everything is getting regular use, it all washes well and not lost any colour or shape.
They don't make womens specific fit, but the size range should cater for most people. Returns are free and customer service has been great for me.
The new stowaway jacket is quite tempting in Hi-viz orange, that will stuff into a rear jersey pocket no problem.0 -
My northwave Tatu jersey in black and white from Santa. Need a tan before I can wear it though... :P0

I keep eyeing up a REALLY good pair of Bibshorts such as from the Assos range, but just can't bring myself to pay the cash.0

I've just bought some 3/4 length bib-tights and an all in one tri suit in the last half-hour.
Damn Wiggle....0 -
Really could use some new jerseys. I have several but have gone off wearing all but one which is starting to fall apart from overuse.
I regard anything above £30 as too expensive and the cheap ones I find usually have gaudy colour schemes to mark you out as being too poor to afford fashionable clothes. Also I'm usually right inbetween the medium/large sizes which is annoying.0 -
There is simply no contest - just go to http://www.primalwear.com/ and feast your eyes upon the multitude of cracking jerseys available! At the last count I had at least 17 of the buggers!0

I like some of those. What is sizing like? I'm exactly in between medium and large as usual.0 -
Pretty well got all the clothes I NEED, it's a case of colour co-ordination now.Tail end Charlie

Looking to get some new cool bib shorts for under £50, which arn't ludicrously long for a week long pyranean cycling tour in august...Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.0

Solo jerserys are quite good looking http://www.solocc.com/home.cfm
Twin Six also http://www.twinsix.com/gear/gear_t609j02.htm
My new kit for summer, hmm.. I could sort of use some new shoes but I can manage with current. I can never have enough socks though, will probably stock up at the next aldi sale, and gloves, I seem to lose (one of a pair, always!) or wear out a couple of pairs a year.0 -
Just bought some DHB 3/4s for the spring - very nice kit - would reccomend them again - seems v comparable to my assos shorts. Gilets are great for this time of year too. I have lots.
Rapha kit is v nice, but I only buy at their sales - normal price is taking the pee.0 -
I've been buying some vintage jerseys lately off ebay. But i'm not sure if its 'right' to wear them on the road?! I never knew if it was the cool thing to do..i know i know i shouldn't care what other people think but being in London, its kinda hard to avoid people.0

What could be more 'right' to do with a cycling jersey than cycling in it?0 -

Frame it up and admire it0 -
A summer, office bike ride is mooted.
As I'm the only remotely committed cyclist I thought I needed to play it with some irony - as opposed to getting the King of the Mountains Jersey out...............
This seems perfect

Dear Wastelander!!
Well Thank You Very Much
Of course I had been browsing my usual sites and had a few: That's cool: But I don't need any new stuff this year moments: I was being really restrained......... 8)
Now I don't just need 90%of the girls jerseys on Primal....... My life and breathing depends on it!!!!!
Ok I have shopaholic tendencies!!!!!
 What is a girl to do!!!! :? :? :?0 -

EDZ:

do this top. I have used it all over the winter and it does the job of a windproof/showerproof shell which rolls up and fits in a small pocket. It IS breathable too. It's pricey but I rate it very highly either as the-thing-in-your-backpocket insurance or as an under jacket thin layer.
Coolest jersey around has to be this:

Dare you wear it... :shock:Spring!

I think I'm going to have to get one of the classic jerseys from Prendas, but I just can't choose!
Also, need a gillet so will probably go for the very well priced Lusso.
Oh, and maybe another pair of bib-shorts. And I'll probably think of something else just after posting this!0 -
Definately going to get one of these when they become avaliable...
