Hi.
Hopefully someone will be familliar with the areas.
I'm going to hopefuly cycle home tomorrow and want it to be about 80 miles, I'm going from Manchester to Selby in North Yorkshire, possibly Via York though. I'm trying to plan a route on Bike Hike but struggling to find what roads I should take, especially quiet roads, I had meself going through Halifax on a speedy dual carridge way by the looks of it!
Any help is aprechiated.
Thanks
Will.

It took me a good 5 minutes but this route incorporates the most quiet roads possible:

I don't think you'll get any better than that for avoiding busy traffic and stuff...
Some hills, but they're unavoidable, no matter which route you take!0 -

Nice and hilly, but at least from 25 miles there is more down than up
If you're free on Easter Monday why not pop up to Thirsk and join us for a ride.

I mentioned it to Clifton CC so hopefully a couple of them may join us too.0 -

The route I did was quite hard, some of the up was very steap, nice though managed my best average yet for a manchester to selby run.
Cant get to thirsk unfortunatly it's abit too far to cycle and then start a ride.
Got a nice view of emily moor today

The Emly Moor mast brings back some memories. My Uncle used to farm at Emliy Old Hall Farm and I remember the mast being built.0
