I see Nozal he is back with Liberty Seguros. Also, two other names, a Spanish David Martin with Rock Racing??, and a Brit in 107th, Thomas Metcalfe. Who is he? Any relation to Arthue Metcalfe?-(former Milk race winner and TDF finisher for GB)

    Metcalfe was in the Tour of Britain - he was asked about his background at the London start by Hugh Porter, but to be honest I can't remember what he said. I think he did say he was British (i.e. not Spanish or Portuguese, he appears to have been born in Faro).

    Just from a quick scan down those stage results... Zaballa, Sevilla, Santi Perez, The Buffalo Gutierrez, Mancebo, Nozal, Vicioso, David Blanco, Isidro Nozal... and I've only looked down to 40th place!

    Noticeable in his absence is Tyler Hamilton. Still got bronchitis.
