give them a call/email.
i ordered a bike from them and they were great, very friendly and good service.0 -
Bad - I ordered some MTB shoes - they sent the wrong size , but wouldn't refund any postage - either out or return ....never used since0

It's a good shop - very well regarded in the local area. I think their mail order is quite a small operation (certainly by comparison to Wiggle/Ribble etc) so I wouldn't worry.

Please don't worry they are a good shop. In February I bought a De Rosa King 3 with full Record from them and they were great. I should give them a call.0

my impression would be that they are a good lbs. I've visited a few times. but maybe not geared up as an internet retailer.0

I've got mixed views, they were good when I bought my first bike from them. Not so good supplying one to my son a few months later. then tried to persuade me that a test ride wasn't a good idea when I was looking to buy a second bike from them. BUT they're normally helpful and knowledgeable. So go chat to them and see what you feel yourself"The only absolute statement is that everything is relative" - anon0

I line nearby, and have found them rather patronising and unfriendly. They have good gear, but not the cheapest.
Better off going to SBR Sports in Windsor if your in Bucks/Berks - excellent service and very very friendly0 -
Can't fault them, use them all the time! Spent thousands!
Just be careful, whatever you go in for you'll upgrade to something better when they show you it!Carbon is a mans best freind0 -

If they sent you the wrong size shoes and refused to refund your postage costs they have infringed your statutory rights and are also in breach of contract. They should refund your postage costs such that you do not pay any more than you would have done if the correct size were sent in the first place. This is the absolute minimum. Other online cycle retailers with much better customer service would refund all postage if charged and apologise profusely for the error. You only find out how good a company is when things go wrong. Companies like this will happily take money from customers queuing up to give it to them but when things go wrong they don't want to know or leave customers short changed. I would remind them that they sent you the wrong size. If they hadn't you would not have incurred further expense returning them to you. Better to let them know that you reocgnise things can go wrong from time to time but you would appreciate refund of your additional postage if they have now sent the correct size or full refund of shoes and all costs if they cannot.
I looked at SBR's site a few weeks ago and was shocked at how expensive they were. Maybe it is because they are in Windsor in the Royal County of Berkshire.Life is like a roll of toilet paper; long and useful, but always ends at the wrong moment. Anon.
Think how stupid the average person is.......
half of them are even more stupid than you first thought.0
