South Downs & Bedgebury Forest

I'm going down to the folks at the weekend who live in Battle and want to get some riding in down that way, I've looked at a few tracks through South Downs but also wanted to know if anyone knew what the riding was like? Just easy to get to for me.

    There is a (reasonably!) sign posted ~8 mile XC loop in Friston forest itself, start from the visitor centre at the Seven Sisters, then there are bridleways all over the Downs there if you have a map/gps into Alfriston or Eastbourne way

    Bedgebury is ok, quite rutted due to being so cut up over the winter but a ~8 mile lap with some fire road, north shore area to play on if dry, £7.50 to park though unless you leave the car on the road somewhere and ride in.
