Hi all,
I have unfortunately had my real wheel etc stolen from my Scott aspect55
My insurance has paid out and are supplying the nbecessary bits of kit via awheelies direct. However, I don;'t have much clue how to set them all up and put them together. Lucklily my girlfriends dad is fairly good with cycles (he is very into his road cycling). However, I would like to have a go myself in an attempt to learn a bit more about my bike.
I have found what I think are potentials - what do you guys (and gals) think?

The 2nd (Zinn) one is supposed to be the best book out, or just reference Parktools guides online before you start each job. Knowing what to do is all well & good but hands on experience is what really teaches you.0

hi
i got the zinn book ,yes very good ,but save your money ,find most things on you tube ,parktools.its handy but not essential0 -
Most, if not all, of the stuff in the Park book is on the Park website anyway. I have the Zinn 4th Edtition and it is very good. The cover on the one you link seems to be an earlier edition - i would suggest getting the newest one as the content will be most relevent to new tech.

Yeah Zinns good, also the Park Tools website www.parktool.com and of course Sheldon Brown www.sheldonbrown.com if you need anything else after that use suppliers own websites, you tube or post again on here!0

I have not read the aforementioned books but I really like "The Bicycling Guide to Complete Bicycle Maintenance and Repair: For Road and Mountain Bikes(Expanded and Revised 5th Edition)".0
