Changing to two chainrings and bashguard!

Hi

I am changing my Pitch Pro to a two chainring set up with a bashguard and chain tensioner.

Obviously I now only need the derailluer to operate two rings is it just a case of winding the stop screw down so it won't go over to the third position!?
