  • haha, the GF got attacked by a duck at Bodiam

Did I do anything? nope :D just laughed hehehehe.
  • Jst wanted to say thanks for all the ideas :)

We decided on Beaulieu in the end and had a great day.... had a picnic, nice stroll around the gardens, house and church and I got to looke at some cars :)

We the drove down to Bournemouth and went for a stroll down the beach which was lush.

Then I bought us dinner.... fish a'la chips :D ate them in the car looking over the bay which was really nice and chilled (typical blackpool style  )

BTW...why the feck aren't there any fish and chip shops on the sea front!! crazy!
  • There are plenty in Eastbourne, Brighton, Worthing but Bournemouth is a bit more residential at the seafront so you need to go inland a bit. Not far though! Did you see the iMax cinema in Bournemouth?

  • A couple of years back the Red Arrows did a display there, and they had a fireworks display from the pier :) spectacular! Cant remember why, but it was amazing how low those planes got and the acrobatics they managed

  • Love the red arrows.

My dad is a head engineer at BAe in Warton... works on the new Nimrod.
Where we live, we get to see the Typhoon pretty much every day, Awesome sight that thing.

Had the worlds biggest plane (Antonov 225) land there last time I was home... the whole bloody house shuck!!
