Challenging Reliability Ride

I can recommend the Oswestry Paragon Reliability runs held on 17th May from Llanyblodwell Village Hall (10.30am).
There are options of a 49 miler or a 77 miler.
I must admit at this point that I've never actually done these courses on a bike, but I have in my car .
Both courses go on very quiet roads and will have quite a few hilly sections, but nothing stupidly steep - put it this way, I'm going to do it ! The route goes past where they made the film 'The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain' - I'm not sure as to the merits of the film, but the countryside is stunning.

Any forumers would be welcome to come back afterwards to my gaff (only 2 or 3 miles from the start/finish) and be given copious quantities of tea/coffee/beer and some bacon butties. I hope to have lost some weight by then, so hopefully, I'll be a bit quicker than I was on the Cheshire Cat.
