Will a shimano chain fit on a SRAM Rival casette?

I am buying a new casette and instead of buying a shimano 105 casette which is what i previously had, i was looking at the SRAM rival casette, but will it be compatible with my Shimano chain?

    yep

    SRAM and Shimano are interchangeable. I've just swapped a 10spd Ultegra cassette for a OG1070 and it was a straight swap (and I think the 1070 is very slightly better at shifting).

    Just remember that if the chain is part worn it might skip on the new cassette. Nothing to do with it being uncompatible though.
