I thought Gordon 'Prudence & Stability' Brown was going to freeze Icelandic assets to make sure we did not lose out by that particular debacle. What happened? Did he change his mind, forget, decide he couln't be @ssed? Or did the Icelandic government threaten to flood our septic isle country with millions of DVD's of 'Lazy Town'

We have the very same problem down here with several paliative care houses (including for kiddies like Naomi House). Does beg the question why the people who gave the advice to invest arent being held liable a little more.

Unless there was deliberate mis-selling involved, I don't see how they could be held accountable. After all advisors only advise, they don't make the decision to invest anywhere.
