Running Racing Ralf rear and Nobby Nic front at 60psi on tarmac and 35 in the woods
Fast tyres? You're having a laugh! I've come from Spesh Adrenaline (not enough grip in the woods) and I cant believe the difference. Not that bothered as it just means a better work out for the old legs, but astonished how hard they are to keep going

I was going to say similar - try a a pair of 2.35 nevegals in Stick-E compound...0

Just sprayed them with WD40 - they go great now.....
Just kidding kids.... dont do it.0 -
thats probably because you are running them on a tiny pressure! 35psi? most tyres come with a recomendation of 40-60psi, and you will only really exploit the tripple compound benefits of the tyres by giving them a chance by pumping them up a bit0

I know there are recommended pressures.... But I'd say they are pretty meaningless TBH... I run 28 PSI front and 32-35 rear on my Reign and on my 29er I'm at around 25 front and 30 rear...
29er fitted with soft compound tyres (WTB Weirwolf 2.55") but with a low tread they are pretty quick rolling and super grippy in the dry.0 -

I ran a Ralph R and Nic F during 'Summer' last year and in terms of light weight, acceleration and fast rolling they were outstanding. I've not tried Adrenalines but they must be pretty good if they are faster than the Schwalbes :?0 -
This thread took the words out of my mouth! Fitted a super tacky high roller 2.35 up front and notice a massive difference from mud x tyres. Also notice the super tacky tyre picks up and throws grit at my downtube like its intent on stripping the paint off!0
