If you've already exhausted Forty Hall & Whitewebbs (there's a good evening type ride there, but not really a days worth) it's time to head over to Epping Forest. The closest access to it for you would be from Holly Drive, off Kings Head Hill in Chingford.
There's loads there, and a few clubs, too.
Look for EppingHardCru (ironic name, not as chavvy as it sounds), or Heales Cycles in Highams Park have a regular Sunday Ride.
Have fun!

Did you say 'Hilly Fields' as in Lewisham?
Hampstead Heath would be ideal but I'm not sure if it's open to ride. Still it's big enough to have a great blast on.
After that I'd say your best bet is Epping Forest0 -

i been around broxbourne and some nice rides there, once you get though hoddesdon park there actually seems to be a unoffical trail which some guys i think have been working on. stickign logs in ground ect, briding the rivers ect ect.
still i going to epping hopefully soon once i get my hydration pack..and get better at cornering.. :roll:London2Brighton Challange 100k!
