Tyres Wire bead vs folding bead

looking to purchase new tyres, i've had a vew punctures already. I've noticed that theres two types of beads, what are the advantages/ disadvantages of both. Also which one is easier to mount back onto the wheel.

Folding is lighter and can be fitted without tyre levers.

wire tend to stay on better if your running lower pressures.

If kevlar is available, go for it. Can save quite a bit of weight.

Also the tyres usually have better compounds.

Hmm, depends on the rim as well....
Steel bead cheaper, stay on better at low pressures as stated abaove- compounds depend on make- Maxxiss have some great tyres at relatively low prices with soft compound available if you want 'em....
