Guess who won stage 2?

Yes, Voigt! As reliable as a Swiss train he is.

yes...he was my pick..."Big Jens Voigt" as Sherwn would say, is always a good PTP pic . main reason I picked him was the pace setting he did on Col De Eze to reel in Contador....looked very very strong there

Hopefully my pick of Tony Martin can still make up... *checks overall standings*... 7 minutes 32 seconds in an 8.3 kilometre time trial.

    Go on Tony!

Jens Voigt takes overall, MArtin takes the TT, with Wiggins in second.

Yup. Didn't have chance to have a good look at the list so just went for Schleck, as I couldn't think of anyone else.

How can you not pick Jens Voigt to win this? He's won it five times now.

I'm being smug as I had him as my PTP pick for the stage this morning and the GC, Oh and Tony Martin was my pick for the TT. Get in!

I didn't pick him because I kept reading on these forums that 37 year old riders can't win bike races. Hmm.

Can I just discuss the Eurosport commentry. Was is absolutely neccessary to tell us the results before we'd even watched the stage? 5km out "Navarro got dropped with about 2km to go"

I thought the same about Levi in the ToC - from now on I'll just go for whoever won last time :D

Me too, from now on i'm just picking form instead of going for the long shot to pick up points other people won't.

Well i saw that Larsson came second last year. I thought that Astana wouldnt let Voigt stay away to try and make sure that Kloden could take the overall win in the time trial. In doing so i thought that Larsson may be able to profit by finishing with the leaders on the long stages and then winning the time trial. Unfortunately the crash with 5km to go on stage 1 meant he lost too much time. Should have gone for the easy option

Carlton Kirby really is a muppet...........he also told us who won the sprint on stage 1 before it actually happened.

I wouldn't mind so much if he could tell me the results on the Friday so I can get a few more PTP points.

Ah.. That's the confusion, I knew he wasn't starting, he wasn't listed www.letour website Starters List on Friday. But I couldn't figure out why everybody is talking as if he was.
