Inense Spider XVP replacement shock (What Size ?)

I am thinking of replacing the 5th Element shock on my Intense Spider XVP with a Fox RP23, but I am not sure what size I need.

I see fox list there shocks in 6.5" / 7.5" .... increments.

Anyone able to tell me ?

    Measure your old one.

    You need the eye 2 eye & stroke measurements

    I am assuming I can measure this whilst the shock is on the frame, so long as I am not sitting on the bike!

    Yup, lift the back wheel off the ground to account for any sag due to the bike weight & measure away.
