Hi all... im just getting back into the swing of things after an 18 month break. Iv recently moved to aberdeen and would appreciate any help in finding tails or anything in the area. To get me back into it i splashed out on a shiny new bike which so far i have no complaints about. its an iron horse 6 point 4. After such a long break i hadnt really heard of iron horse but after reasearching i found that it seemed a good bike and the price was right. Really looking for somewhere to test it out properly tho. Im used to riding the any of the 7 stanes and finding it hard to find anything in comparison this far north. Or maybe i just dont know the right places to look. any help would be appreciated

sorry... trails... and thanks europeandy this looks ideal... accesable by bus which is ideal for me... has anyone been to kirkhill forest.? I went the other day and it had a nice short downhill blast with jumps and berms. It does have a 7km trail but i dont no if it would be worth the 30 km round trip to do... cheers!0

Tyrebagger hill is a good crack if you want a quick blast (its only about 10 mins out from the city centre). Its got some nice single track and a sweet little jump course.
Further a field, check out Pitfichie which rocks for downhill.0 -
