Ok, so apparently there's a Dragon XC race series going on there this weekend, does anyone know if they'll be closing the trails to the general public?

I would be very suprised if they close the trails, think how much income they would lose for a start. However, there may be some diversions in place. I expect it will be rather busy too!

Don't head up to Whinnlatter this Sunday if you can't do llandegla as that's shut for the Whinnlatter Challenge

I had planned to go to LlanD on Sunday, but the race put me off, Whinlatter I though, but no again!
Aaargh, if it hadn't been raining so much lately I'd go and do a proper xc ride but I've really had enough of getting absolutely cacked up just to push my bike through some bogs!!!!

Just another reason to avoid trail centres. If the weather is dry tomorrow join me at Settle. Only 20 miles but there won't be much boggy stuff apart from the Gorbeck/Swallow Hole stretch, and that's only short.

Is the pool free parking, because I don't know anywhere to park for free that's not on the street? Must be somewhere. Usually bite the bullet and go on the P&D.

Not sure, I usually go under the bridge and park up on the main road or if it's evening time just in the centre.

If you say 9.30, I'll meet you on the P&D at about 9.15????

OK. My 575 is in pieces waiting for main pivot bearings, so I'll be on the hardtail. That should give you an idea of how hard it is likely to be! Won't be much (any) singletrack.
