Oil weight in forks

when servicing a fork does it matter what weight of oil i put in. Say the manual said use 5 weight would 10 weight make the fork slightly stiffer for like a heavier rider or would it make no difference. I have Rockshox Psylo Race (pure). Its just that i would like the forks more firmer, dont get me wrong the forks are great but a bit firmer would be better.(there not the dual air), and to change the oil is it a case of undoing the allen bolts at the base of the lower legs sliding off cleaning replacing lowers and then the oil, i dont have to mess with the lock-out or the U-Turn do i ?.

the oil weight does slow the forks down. but it does so on the rebound circuits, so it'll slow down the rebound i think.
You really need to change the spring to change the stiffness, talk to TFtuned0 -
changing the Weight of the oil changes the speed of the fork movement."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I think pure must be used with a set weight oil. Hydacoil can be altered.0
