Where can I find someone to ride with in Essex ?

All my mountain bike friends have disowned me since I have started road biking..

I need someone to ride with early in the mornings from Chelmsford in Essex for an hour or two... Where can I go online to look for riding buddies ?

    There must be a cycling club near you. Try googling "essex cycle club".

    Chelmer Cycling Club-Sunday morning runs from club hut in Meteor Way Chelmsford,and Essex Roads Cycling Club, Sunday morning club runs from Sun Corner Billericay, both clubs about 9 -o-clock start.Essex Roads has various runs for different abilities.

    The advantage of meeting with clubs is that you can find out about weekday rides with other members who are retired/redundant/shift workers/ just got a day off and the wife doesn't know so I'm riding my bike etc.
