At the moment i have a Giant scr 3 with sora/ tiagra which i do 144miles per week commuting on, it has been a trusty tool but now i am Looking for a upgrade full carbon with a budget of £1500 maybe slightly more, to use for my proper training and for entering sportives. I was considering a Kuota Kharma 105 but then the question pops in my mind should should i go for a Kuoat kharma and pay extra for ultegra very mixed up as you can see!!!
A few bikes in mind Focus Cayo, Ribble sportive, Kuota kharma, Trek Madone
Thanks for any help Chris

I know I am biased, but none of the above. If you want a sporting bike in that price range and fancy something a bit different then consider an Orbea Onix. Light, good choice of builds, excellent looks, lifetime frame warrenty and different from the crowd(although 3 people in my club now have one!). If you live someware hilly they make great climbers. I've had mine a year now and done 2000 miles and loved every one of them.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

How about a Sabbath?
Nice titanium frame that will last forever with some good build options...
I don't have one myself but a friend raves about his and they look good value.

I would go for the Orbea (if I had the money).
You should be able to get an Orba Onix Tour or Giro for that amount of money.
Lifetime warranty on the frame too.x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x

I bought one of these from this place last Jan, didn't realise they had any left, this is my final and best offer (if it's in your size!) I've done about 10000 miles on mine although I have since upgraded to Sram Red and Carbon wheels, but it is simply awesome, full ultegra, ksyrium wheels, amazing frame, 1300 quid. -
