Wiggle getting slower ?

Anyone else found recently that Wiggle deliveries are taking longer ?

In the past, even if I used their free delivery service I used to get things delivered the following day for items ordered during the morning of the day before. The last few orders I placed however haven't even been processed until the day after placing the order.

I realise that I shouldn't expect next day service for free delivery on Wiggle (their website states up to 5 days), it's just that in the past it pretty much always has been next day.

CRC on the other hand always seem to be next day on their free delivery even when the order is placed during the previous afternoon !

Up until this week I'd have agreed with you, the free delivery was taking 3 days or so...then I ordered a new tire on Sunday night and it turned up in the office on Tuesday at 0900 :D

My bro has just ordered a bike with them on Monday. Supposed to be despatched this morning however they say it will take until early next before delivery. Seems a little excessive especially considering they charged £20 for the delivery. He as hoping to have it for the weekend. Not bothered myself - he's done no work over the winter so he's only going to slow me down

As for normal orders they seem to come as quick as ever. Most of the time next day otherwise the day after that. Agree that their prices put me off a lot of the time now.
  • I ordered a bike from them last Wednesay; it arrived on Friday around midday.

Had to do a search. Take it is the famous bib shorts  Look good.

I was thinking Assos bib shorts with mine however if the Northwaves are good I'll go for those instead.

I'm away. Grand Slam Special just started on BBC 1 NI. Get to watch it all over again :lol: Tommy Bowe trying to sing - absolutely hilarious

Found Wiggle ok recently for tyres - CRC tends to be faster though. Even Parker's seems to have got it's ship in order of late (although it's still typically slower than Wiggle/CRC). Do like Parker's frame sale pics - nice new carpet and the walls have had a lick of paint :)

hmm - not sure about that. I'm still waiting for a jersey I ordered from CRC (in stock) on Monday evening - and today's post has been and gone, which means tomorrow will be the earliest it can arrive. I wouldn't exactly call that a speedy service. In fact, it doesn't even meet the spec of the service they describe on their own site...if I had believed that, I would have been expecting it on Wednesday...

And I can't even track progress via their site, because according to my account, I have no order history, despite having an order reference for the jersey I ordered on Monday. This, apparently, is due to the fact that I paid by paypal. I was going to ask why that was, but I had lost interest by then...

Wiggle, on the other hand, have always delivered next day. As do PBK, who are another good performer...

Ordered a few bits from Wiggle yesterday about 11am, and they arrived this afternoon.

Think it depends what you order. I ordered a selection of different things a while back and it took about a week to arrive.
