Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a holder for my Ipod Touch, and ideally one that goes around the waste? I have a smaller one for my Nano but the wife has that now..;-)

I was looking at this but any others out there?

thanks

You can get gel belts for running. They come with a little pocket that a touch would fit in. You'd need to put it inside a plastic bag though.

Thanks for replying but I think I prefer the style above tbh.

I'll keep looking for a while, but it looks like most of the waist type holders for the Touch are in the US. There's one nice one on the US Amazon site, but none in the UK.

I just stick my touch in my saddle bag and then have a remote control clipped to me somewhere, so you can change track, volume etc. pretty safe in the saddle bag as well!

On this note (and apols for hijack) - is there anything I can use to 'attach' an iTouch to my bars for when using trainer (and watching films etc)?

Bit too elaborate tbh, and not really my style.

    Thanks though.

That might work, although my saddle bag is very small, just enough for a few bits and not big enough for a Touch. Most likely I'll stick with a waste holder, if I can find one. Don't really want to mess about with remotes either. Probably just create a 2 or 3 hour playlist and let it run.

What headphones/remote do you use?, is it wireless so you don't have a wire running from your seatpack?

I probably don't train as hard as many, but even 30 mins here and there on top of weekend riding helps :D

Ps - thought about an armband? Mrs BJB has one for Gym and it does the job very well....

The apple store sell arm bands for the ipod touch if that helps.

Oh btw, the aquapacks are great. I've got one and it is brilliant for storing my phone in when i'm on the river or it looks like rain.

I had yeah, and do have one for my older Ipod Nano, but the wife has that now and I thought an armband would be a bit bulky if it was holding a larger ipod touch?
