Chain not running smoothly

Can anyone help?.

I have replaced the chain on my mountain bike and serviced front and rear mech the cahin runs smoothly on large chaon ring and small chain ring but when i shift on to the middle ring and pedal the chain pulls the rear mech up and it hits the frame.

I have tried everything to cure can anyone help?.

Was the chain the only thing that you replaced?

Are the teeth on the middle chainring worn out?

Sounds like chain suck, new middle ring required, and possibly a new cassette

Thanks for that it was chain suck i have fitted new middle ring and bike now back on song.

The other thing to do is buy a chain wear indicator

So that next time you only have to replace your chain instead of rings
