Haldon Forest, Exeter - Bike Hire

I'm hoping to do some riding down at Haldon at the weekend, probably no more than the XC red route. For one reason or another, the one reason being my wife and the other being my daughter, there isn't enough room in the car to take either of my bikes.
Has anyone else used a bike hire place down there? There's no mention of a cycle hire shop on site on their website (www.haldonfreeride.org) and I'm not overly familiar with the area.
Any help would be welcome. Cheers all.

Right, so they don't actually hire bikes for use on the red route, insurance won't cover them. Not very useful. I've tried a few local bike shops aswell and all they do are more leisure ATBs than 'proper' MTBs.
I'm going to have to come up with a better plan....
Like asking the wife to get the train0 -

Knobblies in Exmouth hire a few Giant Trances, although it's not especially local....
