Kids club record is 10m 30s - would have been more but we got fed up of timing 10-yr old Bella.

Jokingly suggested she try it one handed with her eyes closed. Turn round and she's doing it. Neither was on a fixie.

Then there was 11-year old Robert's 2 minutes no-handed, seated on his road bike - not a fixie.

There are occasions when I really, really dislike kids.

  • Knowing my luck, the lights would change when I was sitting on the handlebars :D:D

Many of the things we choose to do on a bike are a test of ourselves. TT's, sportive times, centuries, training circuits, how far can we go. Not competing against others but testing ourselves against ourselves.

This guy tests himself in a way that poses an interesting psychological question.

The answer to which, is I believe, that he is a nutcase.
