Strange newbie question for everyone....

Are you supposed to wear underwear underneath cycling shorts? My cycling shorts seem to slip down (amusing i know!) while i'm riding, which ends up giving passer-bys a nice view of the top of my ass!!!!!

I am wearing underwear at the moment when cycling and thought while out is it that that's causing me the problems?

Sorry about the bizzarre question!

No 'daks if I can help it, results in chafing which is definitely not wanted on a longer ride.

Either do up your pants properly or invest in some bib-shorts.

If your making the effort to kit up then, no pants, bib shorts & cream.
    Its the only way!

I find energy drinks are more digestible than cream when I'm out on a ride

...and don't forget some sugar lumps for the donkey

Definitely no shreddies. a seam in the wrong place is no fun at all .

As Doyler I dont find my non-bib shorts falling down - I reckon yours must be too big, or too flimsy.

Neither do mine, but every since I got a pair of Bibs thats all I have bought since. Non bibs are for turbo use only now  .

 When I first bought all my gear I thought bibs were for pros only. Alas, if only I knew! Looking to buy some nice bibs soon though. If you can get nice bibs for less than £50...
Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.
