Hi all.

I'm doing the 12hr bikeradar enduro, and need some good, bouncy tyres.

I'm doing it on my single-speed rigid  , so was thinking 2.2 - 2.5.

Any ideas / suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I use Schwalbe's, they're great tyres. I run Nobby Nic's front and back but some people like a Racing Ralph on the back...also depends on the weather...if it's going to be wet and muddy you might want a mud tyre or at least something smaller in size...it all depends on how muddy it gets and the type of mud (clay being a nightmare and requiring smaller sized tyres to cut through). Of course you can get away with a good all rounder tyre like the Nic's but if the mud comes be prepared to have to stop and scrape your tyres clear of mud occassionaly as they'll probably lock up over time.

If you want a cheaper alternative to Nic's\Ralphs then go for Fat Albert\Smart Sam also from Schwalbe. They're a harder compound so will last longer but aren't as grippy as the more expensive tyres.
