boardman vs specialized?????

i going to buy a new bike!!!!!!! 
i have narrowed my search down to the specialized allez sport and the boardman team. i think the boardman is better speced but i'm not 100%(i'm new to this so not completley sure). i was wondering which was the best bike and if the boardman is better speced then are boardman the type of manufacturer to cutt corners??????? ive looked at things like the gear set and i think the sram rival ion the boardman is better than the tiagra on the specialized.

I was torn on this very decision as well ! Eventually went for the Boardman due to its better component spec. They're both top quality bikes. Anything you hear about inferior frames on the Boardman is complete tosh.Shazam !!0

I am currently looking for a road bike around a grand (c2w limit) and although there are some nice bikes around the boardman is a lot better spec'd than them all. It has the spec of bikes twice the price.
Boardmans had a bad reputation for assembly but I am sure a lot more care will be taken with these higher spec bikes.
I am very tempted.0
