Buying advice - hardrock pro disc 09 vs 'dale f5 disc 08

Hey guys.

I previously had a Kona blast but it didn't feel quite right so i've ordered the above bikes into evans to have a go on them.

I had the f6 disc 08 before but it got stolen - and I loved it.

The £40 difference in price between the spesh + 'dale isn't a factor.

They both fit my criteria of hydra brakes and lockout forks for road riding.

My question is - if when I have a go on both and can't decide which to get - which is superior in terms of parts and in your opinion, which is the better bike

i got a rockhopper 08 v break from evans and love it the frame well light and the decore gears are nice. along with the tora 302 sl fork.

have you considered trying to look for a rockhopper 08 as i picked mine up for 390.


though out of those two bikes i beleive the hardrock better with the turkey 3 dart. fork.

the turkey 2 and 1 id stay well clear off as i tried out some bikes with them and found it very poor compared to tora and turkey 3....name gives it away i think:P

I went into a specialized shop today and rode on both the 17 and 19" version of the hardrock pro - really really liked the 19" so I think i'll go for that
