Always a lot of interest in home grown products, but how far can you take it? Who can put together the most 'British bike'? Use the template below, and fire away! Adding cost would be interesting. A am thinking a classic XC MTB.

    Not going to use yer template, but current build when it gets here:
    Singular Swift frame
    Hope H/set, BB, seapost clamp, stem.
    Not sure On-one count most stuff made in Taiwan.
    Rest is foreign. Maybe a Charge saddle and grips... but I wouldn't mind betting they are made abroad.

    How many parts are actually made in the UK as oposed to being a UK brand?
    Only parts I can think of that are actually made in UK,would be parts like Middleburn,Hope or USE.

    Can`t think of any wheel rims,spokes,chains,cassettes,mechs or tyres.Forks would only count if you went for rigid ,since Pace were taken over by DT.

    Has it got to be brand new? :P Bet you could find loads of early 80s bikes.
