Thats nothing. The local argos had a sign up saying "massive savings on toys". Hulk on a bike was down from £9.99 to £9.79 with one of the "massive savings" stickers on. :? (my cousin was into Hulk, thats why I was looking.. honest guv  )

Quid cheaper at the LBS
  • Saw someone wearing one in Ingatestone today. I suppose you either love them or hate them. Much as I like Marmite, you wouldn't catch me dead wearing that. :?

If it helps with the price, they are also very comfortable and hard wearing. I've had a flags one* for 5 years, worn it on all my tours and it is still my favourite jersey for comfort, style and durability. Much better than scratchy nylon alternatives.

I'm drooling after the Duff beer one that they have just brought out. Some of the designs are quite hideous but that one got my attention.

I saw the Duff one, and the Homer one too. Might have to save up a bit. :)

I've got a Saltaire short sleeve jersey and a Soreen training jacket. Quite keen on the Marmite and Irn-Bru, but really want the Crash Test Dummy...

As per pneumatic they are good quality, with 3 good sized rear pockets, with a zipped 4th pocket integrated into the RHS pocket. The training jacket works well on its own, or with layers in colder weather, and is "breathable" as long as you get the layering right for the conditions. It also stood up to the autumn gales, and was warm and reasonably dry inside despite the heavy rain.

    I'm a bit sad then......

I have the marmite. Pirates. Crash test dummy and Oska the foska. Plus the Skeleton training jacket and Marmite training jacket.

It's a case of either love or hate. I love 'em! :D

I just bought the large Marmite. Length is great but me fat belly gets in the way. Haven't had the gaul to wear it yet. Hasn't been quite warm enough. Will be going back to get the LBS to order me the Homer Simpson. :)
