Getting hold of some Look Delta cleats in Manchester

I have a taster session at Manchester Velodrome tomorrow evening. I'd planned on hiring some of their shoes, which are fitted with Look Delta cleats, which match up with the pedals fitted to their hire bikes.

Having just phoned the velodrome I've discovered that their biggest hire shoes are a 47, I'm a UK size 13, and I think they're likely to be too small for me. My cycling shoes have crank brothers road cleats fitted to them, so they're no good.

My solution is to buy some Look Delta cleats so I can use my own shoes, but my LBS are currently out of stock. So can anyone suggest a bike shop in Manchester where I might be able to buy some tomorrow?

Have you tried Surosa cycles in Oldham, they do a lot of track related kit so may be able to help you. Number: 0161 624 8260

There is an Evans also but go to the independent shops first, keep it local!

couldn't you take the cleats of one of their shoes and put on yours, or is that poor laeral thinking on my behalf?

I suggested that, they weren't keen on the idea.

As it happens, once I checked my own cycling shoes, I discovered they were a 47, so I went with the hire shoes.

Had an absolute blast on the velodrome, really recommend giving it a go for anyone who hasn't tried it.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions!
