Sirrus or Globe?

I've been looking at getting a 2nd hand bike for my girlfriend...
I'd decided on getting a Specialized Sirrus (easy to find 2nd hand, appear to be ideal for her), but i've been offerred a Specialised Globe expert for a very good price.
I'm struggling to find much info on them though, the spesh website doesn't have information (it's been discountinued it seems), and i can't find any proper reviews.
It would be used on road, but the plan in the future would be to go on a few tours together.
It has 700c wheels, but they have very wide tyres on them, can I just replace them with my road wheels?
Any info would be handy.
Many thanks

There's quite a few different versions of the Globe, so it depends which one it is.
My choice would be the Sirrus, as I reckon it's probably a better bike for distances, due to it's lightness, comfort from the zertz inserts, and that it'll have something like road bike performance.
I see from the pics on evans cycles, that it has rear rack mounts, so you can put a rack on for touring. The upright style will mean it's comfortable also.
Mate of mine has just got one off the cycle to work scheme, and he's gonna take it with us when we go to the Alps in summer. So far, he's totally sang it's praises."There are no hills, there is no wind, I feel no pain !"

I think it's that one...
It seems more of a MTB Hybrid, than a road hybrid?http://www.KOWONO.com - Design-Led home furniture and accessories.0 -
There's info on both bikes in the archive section of the Specialized website. Think the Globe is positioned more of an "urban" bike whereas the Sirrus is more of a road hybrid, eg Deore components vs Tiagra. I've ridden older models of both (pre-zertz) and I prefered the Sirrus - it was zippier. Suspect either would be fine though, certainly the Expert looks pretty good.0

the Globe is a the replacement for the Specialized Crossroads. This had more of an upright geometry than the Sirrus. I had a Crossroads - at the time it was marketed as a 'leisure' bike while the Sirrus was marketed as a 'fitness' bike.
So - one gets you there in comfort, the other gets you there in half the time.
I sold the Crossroads in the end - I'm 6'2" and had the largest frame but even with a longish stem I was still too upright.
