Spring is just a prelude (albeit a very welcome one) to Summer. Getting up stupidly early on the Weekend just to get out on the bike is what its all about. Its the only thing that gets me up that early since I was a 10 year old on Christmas Day 8) .

My favourite time is when it's warm & sunny and there are no tourists about. :?

It normally happens for about one week in March and one in October.

The hotter the better for me, I love kicking up the dust when the trails have really dried out, there's nothing like a fine coating of dust on a, otherwise, pristine frame, 8)

Spring is lovely, but nothing beats long summer evenings, training around local roads! Apart from the session I did last summer at about 7 o'clock one morning (I'm a student, naturally i should have been in bed at that sort of time) it was chilly when i started, (gillet and arm warmers needed) but as I went through the session it evolved into a beautiful summer day! Fantastic!

I love winter, seems I'm the only one. :? Fresh air, less of the seasonal-summer commuters by bike and the heat does me in with summer. Winter is good for landscape photography too, I always found. :)
