Specalized rockhopper comp £685
Marin B-17 £785
Genesis core 30 £750
Any ideas which one i should go for or any others i should look at,want a good entry level mtb for trails and fitness and some ride out days

All decent bikes, If you can at least have a sit on 'em and preferably a ride Choose which one fits/ feels bet to you.

The Marin and Genesis are more 'Trail' hardtails (130mm travel) and the Hopper is a 100mm XC bike. If indeed you can get the Core 30 for £750, then that'd be my pick of the three.

Bit of overlap between the terms - especailly as they are marketed.

But.. xc bikes now are generally a little bit lighter, and a bit longer/steeper in the geometry. Trail bikes cn be more relaxed and upright.

If you can test them, do so! You'll get a feel for the bike and its size.

Only if it suits your body shape. You won't know until you ride one
