After several winter rides my RLC adjuster keep getting full of crap and when I try to move one dial all three turn. Anyone got a solution, can I and should I pack it with grease or will that be worse?

clean it after each ride si that it does not get crudded up.

  • I do clean my bike thoroughly after every ride but don't fancy taking the adjuster to pieces 3 times a week!

not much else you can di at this time of year other than keep out of the mud.

this is the top of the right leg of the fork?

you could find and modify a neoprene chainstay/fork leg "protector" and have that over the adjusters during the ride to keep the mud out.

    remove and wash after ride.
