so is lee quarry worth loading up for and will i find it ok
its only say 45 mins from me i just dont know if its worth giving up a good thing for :D

General concensus seems to be that what is there is good, there`s just not enough of it.

I know what you mean about having great routes on your door step i lve in Dukinfield so i'm 15mins ride from Walkerwood and Arnfield they are really good trails, but this Lee Quarry i am supposed to be going on Friday 3rd April but i'm not so sure, is it really worth driving all that way, i'm so close to Dovestones as well and that is good, If i go i will let you know what it is like.

I live ten minutes drive away from it. I have to be a bit bored to go. It's OK but it's pretty limited and also VERY exposed. It's certainly nothing like Llandegla - you can get round the main red run in 20 minutes. There's plenty of playing potential but I wouldn't plan on spending a day there. Oh and there's no facilities (caff, toilets, shop etc.)

Very good for skills (and brown pants). There's even a dedicated skills area with tricky rock bits and skinnies etc. without the exposure worries, i.e. a couple inches off the ground rather than 40ft. The skills area is at the end of the new bermy section about halfway around.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result
