carbon Frames - roof bars, tow bar rack or boot

recently bought myself a new Trek Madone carbon fibre frame.
How do folks transport such bikes, currently for my mountain bikes I use a Thule Euro Classic tow bar rack which clamps onto the cross bar - not a worry on aluminium frames but is it safe to transport my shiney new madone in the same way - I'm afraid when I do the clamp up I might crush it?
thanks for your help

I had a similar problem when I bought my Focus cayo, I was worried about crushing the frame.
I have always used thule 530

So I bought one of these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/Delta ... 360006702/
Made a bracket from a piece of steel and fitted it to the rack so it clamped the front fork and the rear wheel still sits in the rack and strap as normal. also means I can stilluse the rack for MTB's as normal.
You obviously have to remove the front wheel but this was by far the cheapest option considering I already had my car racks.
Any way hope you get sorted.STOP!......... Carry on!
