Over the weekend i have damaged the Shimano HG73 chain and the 15T on the SRAM PG950 cassette on my giant xtc 4.5. Im presuming i need to change the whole cassette and cant just replace the knackered gear. :?

are these components good enought to replace with same kind or should i upgrade a bit, thinking about PG970 and either the HG93 chain or sram's PC991. any thoughts appreciated. :)

very damaged, 15t cog as tooth missing and one of sideplates of chain link has snapped, ive been lucky not to have it go up hamsterley at stupid speed.

I have removed damaged link and stuck a powerlink in for now but will need new chain to match new cassette.
