Hi All

I have a TOUGH decision, I hope you can help  -

Wondering which bib to get - Personally I like the 'look' of the Cinelli but the Endura just has awesome reviews for comfort although a boring design - has anyone got experience or knowledge of the Cinelli bib range? Would they be just as good?

Cinelli does not actually make clothing, so this will be a Cinelli logo on someone else's shorts, like Santini or Giordana. They may be ok shorts, but I have a feeling you are paying more for the logo than the quality of the kit.

Endura - on the other hand - is a clothing company and the FS260 pro shorts are excellent and worth every penny...

Get the Enduras - your ar5e will thank you for it...

They are the wiggle own brand. (er I think thats the right initials ?!)

I bought a pair of Assos shorts after years of hearing how nice they were. For £80 - you expect them to be pretty nice - but for me - they were actually less comfy than some of the cheaper shorts I'd already got.

big fan of Endura but the shorts used to have basic inserts a while back - maybe the new ones are different though. The Gore/Assos of this world used to be a step up.

The DHBs have had some very good reviews too.

Best to try on really. Some just don't fit that well. Or buy one of everything and send back the ones you don't want...

Liking the reviews about the Enduras but have one question ... do they use gel inserts in the chamoix?

What's the difference between gel inserts and normal chamoix?

er, one has gel inserts and the other doesn't..?

The reason I asked about the gel inserts is that most of my shorts don't have them but the comfiest pair I own do have them. It's a bit of a poor comparison though cos the gel pair are also the most expensive.

Genuine question (yeah, I'm a thicky) ... is gel always / usually comfier to sit on than non-gel?

I have 260's and also Giodana Silverline, which I think have the same chamois as the Tenax.

The 260's do have a slightly better chamois than the Giordana but not £30's worth better. I would go for the Giordana (unless you can pick up the 260's for a similar price).

tenax is a different chamois to silverline

Ja, i meant in terms of comfort. Is one supposed to be softer than another? What's the consensus on the value of having gel inserts? Nevermind!

No they dont. They both use the MC-3 OF Chamois, as confirmed on Giordana
