Fair play, well if the terrain demands it.....full suspension is the way to go...

PS Did you fall off?

No. He did though. Funny as Feck!

I'll set the scene... A very long, quite steep downhill section we have ridden once before... the 1st time we did it he fell off right at the top, we all waited and waited at the bottom, as you dont take your eyes off the track to look behind you on those descents! He limped down a few mins later blaming his forks saying he had no confidence in them... next up he buys his Wolf and thinks hes an Atherton! Lo and behold he pushed too hard too soon and went tumbling down the exact same spot he ditched it the 1st time.:lol:
After the initial concern, then the laughter he showed us just what his new steed is capable of.

Well at least he was trying, as it says below:
If you don't fall off, you're NOT trying hard enough!

I got the 514 for quite a bit cheaper than Evans are offering it for with some free red straitlines flat pedals (RRP £90ish  ) and the promise of tasty discounts on any kit I buy in future

TBH mate, if an independent is offering deals like that and also chucking in free next day delivery there's no way I'd even consider going to evans. Fair enough they might pricematch but they certainly don't go out of their way to offer a deal and in my experience once you've signed on the dotted line thats it - they couldn't care less about you. I bought a stumpy comp from the Castleford evans in 07, had some problems with the brakes and got proper fobbed off. (You might be able to tell that it still pi55es me off  )

Just can't wait to get home next week and actually ride the thing now, stupid work getting in the way of my real life!

    Well, took the plunge today.
Bought a 314 from welovelapierre in Hull as Jamie has, got good discount, red Straitline pedals and a shock pump thrown in too. Absolutely made up!!! :D:D
Only bummer is I have to wait 2 weeks for it :(

Going to Lee Quarry in Bacup tomorrow on my F6 then going to have to blast it on my Zesty :D

Cheers for all your help guys, prob wouldnt have bought it without the great feedback from on here.

not sure about your comment re inferior, they're designed for UK terrain/weather....perhaps you are biased, presume you own a commencal?
Never even seen a Lappy in person so have no idea what they're like, when I said inferior I was only basing it on Ayton's opinion.

But yes Commies are better :D
